"alternative"/"no sew" blankets:

Go to the fabric store and see who wide they have fleece in....try to get it wide enough for a bed (see the sizings below).

Cut the fabric to that size and call it a blanket

or

Cut the fabric 6 inches longer and 12 inches wider and cut in 6 inches on the sides and bottom and call it a blanket

If the fleece is not wide enough you can cut them 12" larger than 1/4 the blanket size, cut fringe on all 4 sides and tie the pieces togther to create a piece big enough for the bed.
